pabbo87ParticipantAll software is updated including the PHP version and I cannot update the header, footer, HTML blocks. It just refreshes and the changes don’t take place. Also when I update content on a page and click update it goes to a 404 page and doesn’t apply the update.

pabbo87ParticipantI deactivated WPBakery and can update some page settings now, I’m not sure why this issue is happening with WPBakery
March 21, 2026 at 5:49 pm #713569
pabbo87ParticipantBasically WPBakery is the issue I’ve disabled every plugin and still not working. It might have some conflict with the Template. It is showing the website 404 page on the WordPress back-end. Sorry for the multiple replies I am trying to figure it out also.
March 21, 2026 at 10:05 pm #713580Hello,
Thank you so much for purchasing our theme and contacting our support center.
Could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us your admin access so we can check it?
Thank you in advance

pabbo87ParticipantHi any update?
March 23, 2026 at 11:26 am #713716Hello,
I was able to log in to the dashboard, but don’t see any problems at the moment. Could you please clarify how to reproduce the issue or record a short video?
Kind Regards
March 23, 2026 at 4:46 pm #713774
pabbo87ParticipantUpdate any page or html block it goes to a 404 page, I’m on a deadline with this website please check again
March 23, 2026 at 4:48 pm #713775
pabbo87Participantgo to the about us page, click edit, use wpbakery edit the title or content, click update and it goes to a 404 page
March 23, 2026 at 6:16 pm #713794I checked with a default theme and the same issue occurs there as well:
https://monosnap.ai/file/lAzM2tAeysz5T1xMQnwfiavSdTCnxBP.S. This issue appears to be related to some server-side sanitization. As soon as
style="link"orstyle="custom"appears in the content — regardless of which theme is active — saving results in a 404 error. Other words may also trigger this problem.March 23, 2026 at 6:37 pm #713795
pabbo87Participanthow do we fix this, its not happening with our other websites and other websites using your theme
March 23, 2026 at 6:51 pm #713803
pabbo87Participantwe have this exact theme and wpbakery on multiple installs on this server with no issues
March 24, 2026 at 10:11 am #713837Hello,
It is not related to our theme. Please do the same test as we did on the video and you will see this. Most likely, it is somehow related to your server configuration. Consult with your hosting administrator for help on this matter.
Kind Regards
March 24, 2026 at 1:19 pm #713908
pabbo87Participantwe have the same template from you with the same page builder on the same server with no issues we’ve had issues before when first installing how do we fix this
March 24, 2026 at 2:00 pm #713915
pabbo87Participantit was working until we applied the theme paches
March 24, 2026 at 2:05 pm #713921Hi,
This issue is not related to the WoodMart patch. We tested with a default WordPress theme and the same error appears when saving, which means it’s generated by the server.
Please try the same test on your side: switch to a default theme temporarily and attempt to update the page or HTML block. You should see the same 404.
If you still think it started after applying patches, you can restore a recent backup to the state before the patch and check again.
Kind Regards
