    Hello,

I wish to follow up on this thread:

    https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/issue-with-woodmart-wpbakery-option-stretch-row-and-content-without-paddings/
    Post #708627

I am also experiencing the same issue here, and it seems to be related to the mini cart widget (side bar) which has layout shifts too. I am however using Elementor and not WPbakery.

The theme version I am using is 8.4.1.

May I know if this issue has been resolved in this theme version already, or is coming up in a future version update?

    Thank you.

It could be happening after I had applied Patch ID 713153 and 713146. Because on staging site this issue was okay (with these 2 patches not applied yet).

The issue you are describing was addressed in patches for version 8.4, which were cumulatively included in the 8.4.1 update. Since this version is already installed on your site, the full-width rows issue should already be fixed on your end.

While logged in, we can see that your full-width rows are functioning correctly; the side margins only appear when viewing the site as a guest (logged out). This indicates that the issue is caused by the site’s cache, which in your case is managed by the WP Rocket plugin. To confirm this, we performed a “Purge this URL” on your homepage, and the issue disappeared even for non-logged-in users https://monosnap.ai/file/VyhmItOImccvppvld2N2cqBeGxx2p4.

To completely fix this across all pages of your site, you need to clear the cache for the entire website in the specific sequence shown in the screenshot: https://monosnap.ai/file/fqPnNxuXdREYNC5jn34fVC0aWRX9pr

    1. Clear Used CSS
    2. Clear Priority Elements
    3. Clear Cache Files

Going forward, we recommend clearing the cache after every theme update or plugin change if you are using caching plugins.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Bogdan,

I have tried your order of clearing cache. The issues went away for a brief moment, but after a while if you refresh the page, the 2 issues came back again. (The white borders and the layout shift in the cart widget).

    It doesn’t resolve the issue.

    Any possible next steps please

In addition to clearing the cache, please also disable the WP Rocket Optimize CSS delivery option https://monosnap.ai/file/qicIABGYtfoW8bnpyVLDarrcnBem1E.

    Hi Bogdan,

    Then I will only have
    – Clear Priority Elements
    – Clear Cache Files

    remaining, correct?

Will that have an impact on the loading speed if there is no optimized CSS delivery?

    1. Correct.

    2. The “Optimize CSS delivery” option attempts to automatically remove theme styles that are not currently in use on the site. This feature is generally designed for websites with a simpler features and CSS structure than WoodMart. In contrast, WoodMart has its own built-in CSS management system that automatically loads only the specific styles required by the elements and options used on your site. This can lead to conflicts with the “Optimize CSS delivery” option if it is enabled by default. This is also further noted in the description of this option: https://monosnap.ai/file/JIlYVsKZh4O0qh9qePFXleWxV0CzsW

    Kind Regards

Thank you for your detailed explanation.

As of now, the 2 issues have gone away and have not reappeared yet. (Thankful for this)

However, please allow me to highlight a consequence of disabling the Optimize CSS delivery option:
The pagespeed results for mobile (especially), has a “render block request” issue arising from disabling this option.

Render blocking requests: Est savings of 3,480 ms

Is there a way to prevent this consequence from happening as a result of disabling the Optimize CSS delivery option?

The Optimize CSS Delivery option can reduce load times because it removes parts of the CSS, such as styles for specific elements in dropdowns, accordions, tabs, or even styles within the off-canvas mini-cart in your case. While this technically speeds up the site, it can lead to display issues, so users must choose what is more important to them: faster load times or visual consistency.

May I know what is the off-canvas mini-cart style name (….name.css) / what is the class name of the off-canvas mini-cart please? Would like to see if i can make this file an exception.

    thank you.

Several module files are responsible for rendering the off-canvas mini-cart content. Judging by the screenshot in your first message, the following styles are missing:

    woodmart/css/parts/header-el-cart-side.css
    woodmart/css/parts/woo-widget-product-list.css
    woodmart/css/parts/woo-widget-shopping-cart.css

    Kind Regards
