Assistance with WP Rocket CSS/JS Exclusions for Mobile Core Web Vitals
-
Hello,
I read your article regarding improving Core Web Vitals, but I have an issue I cannot resolve. On the mobile version in incognito mode, the cart and account elements that appear on the side do not display correctly when clicked. Could you assist me in excluding them from WP Rocket’s CSS processing so I can achieve the final desired result? Thank you.
Also, should the Settings > Performance > WP Rocket > Delay JS exclusions option be enabled, considering that I have already included JS exclusions in WP Rocket overall?
I would greatly appreciate your guidance, as I want to achieve the best possible result on https://pagespeed.web.dev/
with minimal risk of something not functioning correctly.
Best regards,
Nikola
Hi Nikola,
Thanks for the details.
About excluding the cart/account from WP Rocket’s CSS processing: there isn’t a concrete, universal list we can provide. Delay CSS requires experimental, site‑specific adjustments and testing. Each website’s setup is different, so these exclusions need to be tuned on your installation.
Regarding the Settings > Performance > WP Rocket > Delay JS exclusions option: if you already manage your JS exclusions directly in WP Rocket, you can disable that option. This helps avoid duplication and keeps all JS exclusions in one place.
Kind Regards
Hello,
okay, thank you. You can close ticket.
Best regards, Nikola
