Latest Update And HomePage Now Won’t Load Elementor
-
Hello,
We updated to the latest version of Woodmart yesterday.
We ran the core plugin to update.
Our multsites are all working okay except for our EU subsite homepage which we can no longer edit with elementor and it shows a critical error on editing.
Please advise

Hello,
Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and share the WP admin login details of your site so I will check and give you a possible solution.
Best Regards.
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
Allow me to explain things further then. When something strange like this happens after an update we always look for plugin conflicts by deactivating all other plugins to see if the issue resolves.
In this case, deactivating all other plugins never resolved the issue and we also repeated the steps on a freshly established staging site and exactly the same issue happened. Only then did we open this support ticket.
From our investigations it seems that the problem stems from the slider module. When xtemos moved the slide settings to within the elementor settings system in the latest update it somehow broke this element on one of our multisite subsites. The problem was fixed by rebuilding the slides and slider module to remove the critical error.
Although not ideal as it took several hours to rebuild, we found a fix so you can close this ticket. Hopefully anyone with the same error cna find this ticket and see the solution.
Regards
LP
