JohnnyGuitarParticipantHello Dear Woodmart Team,
I am an owner of a wholesale business using the Woodmart theme. I sell my products both as single items and in bulk cartons. I need to implement a specific pricing display logic for my business model, but I am having trouble making it work seamlessly with Woodmart’s variation update system.
Here is the exact user experience (simulation) I am trying to achieve:
Shop & Category Pages:
For Variable Products, the price should remain as the standard range (e.g., “$200 – $1500”) since no selection is made yet.
For Simple Products, a calculated unit price should automatically appear next to the main price (e.g., “$100 ($2.00 / Piece)”).
Single Product Page & Quickview:
As soon as a customer selects a variation, the main price at the top should show the calculated unit price next to it based on the carton content (e.g., “$500 ($5.00 / Piece)”).
If the customer changes the selection (e.g., from a 50-piece carton to a 100-piece carton), both the main price and the unit price suffix must update instantly and accurately.
Right above the “Add to Cart” button, a clear information box should appear showing the packaging details (e.g., “Packaging: 1 Carton – 50 Pieces”).
Backend & Compatibility:
I need a field in the product edit screen (for both simple and variable products) to enter the “Pieces per Carton” value.
This system needs to work smoothly with ATUM Inventory Management and Woodmart’s native Quickview feature.
The Problem We Are Facing:
When a variation is selected, Woodmart’s internal price update effects (fade-in/out) either remove our custom unit price information or cause it to get stuck on the previous value. Our scripts are being overridden by the theme’s AJAX/animation layers. My Request:
What is the best way to “hook” into the Woodmart variation price update event (JS Trigger) reliably? What is the correct method or “hook” you recommend to inject this custom HTML into the price area without breaking the theme’s core functionality? This user experience is critical for our commercial model. I look forward to your professional guidance.
Best regards,

JohnnyGuitarParticipantHi Dear Suppor Team, Thanks for you reply. I made some changes by the time you replied. It’s all sorted out now, but I’m sharing the login passwords with you just for verification. Even if possible can you genarally check too please. By the way I assume you can add this new feature to your new version as well.
Thank you.March 31, 2026 at 3:08 pm #714690Hello,
