Conflict with Meta Pixel

    I use PixelYourSite PRO plugin to implement the Meta Pixel and the Meta Pixel Helper extension to see what events get fired on the checkout page.

    The issue is that the Purchase event gets triggered even if the order is not placed. It looks like it gets triggered when the Place Order button is clicked. That means that if the woocommerce checkout validation returns an error, the event is still fired. You can replicate the issue by click on the Place Order button without accepting the terms and conditions.

    When I switch to any other theme, I dont face this issue.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the report. To investigate this properly, please:

    1) Record a short screen video showing the exact steps to reproduce on your site. Include the checkout page, the Meta Pixel Helper panel, and the moment you click Place order without accepting terms so we can see the Purchase event firing.

    2) Send us temporary wp-admin access in a private reply (URL, username, password). Please confirm that we have permission to temporarily switch between your current theme and a default theme for comparison. We need to do this to see what is different and pinpoint the conflict.

    Once we have the video and access, we’ll check and update you.

    I permit you to switch between themes. You can find the wp-admin credentials in the Private Content section.

    Sorry for the delay. I posted the wetransfer link on the private content sections.

    As you can see, when the default theme is active, the purchase event only gets fired once.

    I think the issue is caused by the way that woodmart updates the checkout.

While it works differently with the default theme, we’re unable to determine the reason for this discrepancy.
