I just purchased a license for the WoodMart theme and I am having trouble getting it up and running on my development environment (located on a subdomain).
Here is what I have tried so far:
WordPress Upload: I first tried to upload the theme via the WordPress dashboard, but I received the following error: “The link you followed has expired. Please try again.” (I suspect this is related to server upload limits, so I moved to FTP).
FTP Installation: I uploaded the ZIP file to the wp-content/themes directory via FTP and extracted it there.
Activation Error: After extracting the files, the theme appeared in my dashboard. I entered my purchase code/license key successfully. However, when proceeding to the next step to activate the product and access the setup wizard, I received this error:
“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
Action: Trying to activate the theme and install a Demo.
I would appreciate your help in resolving this permission issue so I can proceed with the installation and import the Demo content.
