    Hi,
I am having trouble updating the theme. I recently bought my own license (the theme was previously installed by a developer) and I am trying to switch to my new purchase code, but I am stuck.

I have already followed the standard instructions provided by your support:
Go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Theme License and deactivate the theme.
Go to Dashboard -> Updates and click on Check Again.
Activate the theme with your purchase code again.
Go to Dashboard -> Updates and click on Check Again.
Try to update the theme via Appearance -> Themes or via Dashboard -> Updates.

Unfortunately, this did NOT work for me. Here is the most important detail: I managed to activate the theme with my new purchase code, and your system confirms that the license is successfully activated for my domain. However, despite being active, when I try to run the update, I still get this exact error message:
“Update failed: Download failed. Unauthorized” (Aktualizacja nie powiodła się: Pobieranie nie powiodło się. Unauthorized).

Additionally, the deactivation button acts weirdly. When I click “Deactivate”, I get a “Successfully deactivated” message, but after refreshing the page (F5), it still shows as activated. It seems the old license/token from the previous developer is completely stuck in the database and overriding my new license. I have already cleared all caching plugins (LiteSpeed) and server-side object cache, but it didn’t help.

Could you please help me remove the stuck token and fix this authorization issue? I want to be able to use the automatic one-click updates via the dashboard and prefer not to do a manual ZIP file overwrite.

    Hello,

Thank you for purchasing WoodMart and reaching out to our support team. We’re here to help you with any issues.

Could you please temporarily disable all plugins that are not related to our theme (including caching, optimization, and third-party WooCommerce extensions)? This will help us check if any of them are causing the issue.

After that, kindly share your WordPress admin access using the Private content field so we can investigate it directly.

We will review your setup and get back to you shortly.

    Best regards

Hi, thank you for your reply!
I cannot temporarily disable all third-party plugins on my live website because the store is constantly running, and I cannot disrupt my customers’ shopping experience.

However, for this exact reason, I have prepared an exact staging environment (a perfect clone of the live site). I have disabled all third-party plugins there, and the authorization issue is fully reproducible.
I am giving you admin access to this staging site so you can investigate and fix the issue safely. I have provided the login details in the Private Content field. Let me know if you need anything else!

As we can see, the theme is still activated. Note that if you can’t deactivate it then you have a nulled version of the theme installed. In this case, you need to download our theme from ThemeForest and reinstall it completely via Appearance -> Themes -> Add new.

    Hi again,

Thank you for the explanation. I have successfully replaced the nulled theme with the clean, fresh version downloaded directly from ThemeForest, and I managed to activate my license.

However, after updating the theme and plugins, a new issue has appeared on the staging site:

    1. Endless loading on “Add to cart”
When I am on a single product page and click the “Add to cart” button, the loading icon just keeps spinning endlessly. Nothing happens visually (see attached screenshot). Only when I manually refresh the page (F5), I can see that the product was actually added to the cart. This was working perfectly fine before the updates.

    2. Blank mini cart
Also, sometimes randomly (likely related to the first issue), the sliding mini cart is completely blank/white. It doesn’t display any products, no text, no graphics – just empty white space (see attached screenshot).

Could you please check what is causing this AJAX/cart conflict and fix it? You still have the admin access to my staging site (credentials are in the previous Private Content).

    One additional question:
Could you please tell me where exactly in the WoodMart settings I can edit the graphic/image located at the very bottom of the mini cart (the one with InPost and BLIK logos)? It was set up by the previous developer, and I have no idea where to find it to change it.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hello,

    1. AJAX add to cart may conflict with some of the installed plugins. We need to be able to troubleshoot this with turned off plugins to find the root of the problem.

    2. Yes, it might be related to the first issue as well.

    3. Unfortunately, there is no option in Theme Settings to upload custom image to the mini cart in our theme.

    Kind Regards

I have actually already disabled all the third-party plugins on this staging site for you. However, since it is a safe staging environment, you have my full permission to disable anything else, switch themes, or do whatever troubleshooting you need to find the root of the AJAX conflict. It will not affect my live store at all.
Please go ahead and run your tests.

    Hello,

We have switched to the parent theme in Appearance -> Themes and now it works correctly. It seems like the problem was caused by the custom code you added to the child theme. You need to review or remove the custom code in the child theme.

    Kind Regards
