Unable to create category layout

I am unable to create a category layout, please check the screenrecording link i sent for clarification.

Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
If the issue remains, try to increase the “PHP Max Input Vars” parameter to 10000 or higher in your PHP configuration and check how it works.

The issue is Elementor plugin. When I disable it it takes me to the edit post screen for the layout. But are these not available as elementor templates?
In woodmart settings my current builder is set to Elementor

Navigate to Elementor > Settings > General.
Under “Post Types, check the option for “Layout” as shown here: https://ibb.co/BTXTTkm
Then you will be able to edit the layout with Elementor.
