Woodmart theme will not update

    I get an error saying I don’t have authorization.

    Hello,

    Please try these steps:
    – Go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Theme License.
    – If it is active, click Deactivate.
    – Go to Dashboard -> Updates and click Check Again.
    – Return to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Theme License and Activate with your purchase code.

    – Then go to Appearance -> Themes or Dashboard -> Updates and run the theme update.

    If the issue persists, please share a screenshot of Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Theme License and the exact update error after the steps above, and we’ll guide you further.

    It will not deactivate. After I deactivate and refresh it is the same.

    Hello,

    Please download the latest version of the theme from your account on ThemeForest and reinstall the theme, replacing all the files via Appearance -> Themes -> Add new and let us know if it works.

    It does not show under downloads or in my subscriptions. It looks like I have not purchased it.

    Hello,

    Make sure you are logged into the correct ThemeForest account that was used to purchase the theme
    – The purchase is visible under your Downloads section

    If you are unable to locate the purchase, it is possible that:
    – The theme was purchased using a different account
    – Or it was provided by a third party (in which case a valid purchase code is required for updates and support)

    In this case, we recommend contacting the person or provider who supplied the theme to obtain a valid purchase code or access to the correct account.

    Once you have a valid purchase and code, you will be able to activate the license and receive updates without authorization issues.

    I did purchase it through theme forest. I entered a valid code in my account.

    I am overwhelmed by your incompetence. You updated the theme and then left the main theme activated and not the child theme… DO NOT UNDERSTAND how wordpress works? The site does not render correctly without the child theme. My site was down all night. I am going to escalate this to someone in upper management.
