Woodmarrt + WpBakery end Gutemberg
-
Hi, I’ve been using Woodmart with WPBakery since the beginning, but I’d like to switch to Gutenberg because it’s much lighter. I want to start implementing it on my live site. I tried testing this in a staging environment by disabling the Woodmart WPBakery blocks and checking the WooCommerce settings, but for some reason, I can’t figure out how to activate it; it just doesn’t show up. What are the necessary steps to make the switch? Best regards, Antonio.
Hello,
You will have to recreate your site from scratch on Gutenberg. Switching from one to another builder would not cause data loss. However, all the content created, for example, in WP Bakery Builder would be messed up, and you would have to recreate it all.

Hi,
The loss of data was already clear to me previously. I would like to use Gutenberg or Elementor, enabling them to build the blog and new pages in parallel, while also keeping WPBakery for the old pages and WooCommerce products.

Hello,
WoodMart does not support switching the entire site from one builder to another (e.g., WPBakery to Elementor/Gutenberg) without rebuilding the content.
You will have to reinstall and recreate all from scratch.
