    Hi.
I purchased a WoodMart license. Now, there may be a possibility that I have to create multiple subdomains and use WoodMart theme there.
Each subdomain will have a similar look and feel, but different and non-overlapping data (dont know if this information helps)

    My questions are:
    1. I understand I can only activate the license in one (the main) website and not on all the subdomains. Please correct me if I am wrong.
    1. In that case (not activating a license on the subdomains), what are the potential issues/ difficulties I might face in future?

To be more precise, my plan is to build one WordPress Multisite platform, say xyz.com. The main domain is xyz.com, and artisans get subdomains such as artisan1.xyz.com and artisan2.xyz.com. All subsites use the same WordPress installation, same WoodMart theme files, and same xyz-managed template. Artisans only log in to manage their own products/content; they do not receive a copy of the theme or a separate WordPress installation.

I hope I can use one WoodMart regular license activated on xyz.com (and not activated on any of the other subdomains) for this single multisite platform.

    Hi Amitav,

If all subdomains are part of a single project on one WordPress Multisite, you can use one WoodMart regular license.

    1) Yes — activate the license on your main production domain, and you can also activate it on one development/staging domain for the same project.

    2) You don’t need to activate the license on each subdomain, and there shouldn’t be any problems with this setup.

Your described multisite scenario (xyz.com with artisan1.xyz.com, artisan2.xyz.com, etc.) fits this use case.

    Kind Regards
