silasarcgoldskyParticipantHi XTemos Team,
I want my Header “Categories” button to look EXACTLY like your electronics-3 demo (a pill-shaped button with a black background and white text).
However, on my site, it always displays as a large square inheriting my global “Primary Color” (brown). I have tried changing “Dropdown design” to “Default” and “With background”, and clearing the background color in the element, but it remains a brown square.
Could you please check my settings and tell me how to achieve the black pill shape? I have provided my login details in the private area.
Attached are the screenshots (My current site vs Your demo). Thanks!

Please create the Categories item in Appearance > Menus with its submenu, then add the Menu element in the Header Builder and set its Style to Background. After that, set the background color to black in the style/colors settings so it matches the electronics-3 demo.

silasarcgoldskyParticipantHi Aizaz,
I followed your instructions to use the generic “Menu” element, but it caused two critical issues:
Text Visibility: The word “Categories” is invisible unless hovered over (due to color conflicts).
Dropdown Broken: More importantly, this generic Menu element entirely loses the Mega Menu dropdown functionality. It does NOT display my vertical categories dropdown as shown in the electronics-3 demo at all.
I have already provided my WP Admin login details in the Private Content area of my initial post.
Instead of me guessing the CSS/element settings, could you please log into my site and configure this specific Header Categories button directly so it functions and looks EXACTLY like the electronics-3 demo? >
Thank you for your direct assistance.May 23, 2026 at 8:05 am #719137
silasarcgoldskyParticipantHi Support Team,
I just wanted to give you a quick update: the issue is now completely resolved!
I ended up doing a full WP Reset and re-imported the demo data from scratch. Everything is working perfectly now, and the vertical category dropdown displays exactly as expected (I’ve attached a screenshot of the fixed menu for your reference).
Also, please note that because of the database reset, the temporary admin account I provided earlier in the “Private content” area has been automatically deleted, so you no longer need to log in to check.
Thank you so much for your time and previous replies. I really appreciate your excellent theme and support. You can go ahead and close this ticket now.
Have a great weekend!
