    Dear XTemos Support Team,

The project pages I have created are published successfully and visible within the WordPress dashboard. However, when I try to view these project pages on the front end, they return a 404 Error (Page Not Found).

This issue affects all created project/portfolio pages. I would appreciate your assistance in identifying whether this is related to permalink settings, portfolio configuration, theme settings, or another compatibility issue within the theme.

Could you please help me resolve this problem?

    Thank you for your support.

“Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call the_content function in the current template in order for Elementor to work on this page.”

Could you please check whether these issues are related to the theme’s project/portfolio templates, permalink structure, Elementor compatibility, or theme configuration?

I would appreciate your assistance in resolving both issues.

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.

From our side we can’t reproduce this, so it’s most likely a configuration/permalink flush issue. Please try the following steps:

    – Assign the Portfolio page:
    – Dashboard -> Theme Settings -> Portfolio -> Portfolio page -> select an empty page and Save.
    – Note: After assigning, go to Settings -> Permalinks and click Save Changes (twice) to flush rewrites.
    – Check slugs and conflicts:
    – Theme Settings -> Portfolio -> Project slug / Category slug. If you changed these, re-save Permalinks again.
    – Make sure there isn’t another page or CPT using the same slug (e.g., a page called “project” or “portfolio” conflicting with your slugs).
    – About the Elementor message:
    – “Sorry, the content area was not found…” typically appears when trying to edit an automatically generated archive/template that doesn’t use the_content. The Portfolio archive is rendered by the theme, so it can’t be edited directly with Elementor.
    – If you want to use Elementor inside single Projects, enable it for that post type via Dashboard -> Elementor -> Settings -> Post Types -> check Projects, then edit the Project content with Elementor.

If the issue persists after the steps above, please provide temporary WP admin access via the forum’s Private Content field so we can check your:
    – Portfolio page assignment and slugs
    – Permalink structure
    – Potential conflicts

    Kind regards,
    XTemos Studio
