Hello,
I’m building a staging site first.
I am running WoodMart v8.5.2 on WordPress 7.0 and have an HTML Block assigned to the Top Bar row in the Header Builder that is not rendering any content on the frontend.
Setup:
– WoodMart v8.5.2
– WordPress 7.0
– SiteGround hosting (sg-host.com)
– No WooCommerce installed
– Child theme active
What I have done:
1. Created a new block via WoodMart > HTML Blocks > Add New
2. Added HTML and CSS content to the block
3. Published the block (not draft)
4. In the Header Builder, added an HTML Block element to the Top Bar row
5. Selected the published block from the dropdown
6. Saved the header
What happens:
The Top Bar row appears on the frontend with the correct background colour, but no text or content renders inside it. The block is confirmed as Published. The correct block is selected in the Header Builder dropdown.
What I have tried:
– Clearing SiteGround cache
– Hard refreshing the browser
– Recreating the block from scratch
– Using inline styles instead of the CSS tab
– Checking the block is Published not Draft
Note: I have a separate WoodMart installation on another domain (rawpetfood.es) where an identical setup works correctly. The HTML Block renders in the Top Bar on that site without issue. I cannot identify what setting differs between the two installations.
Could you advise what might prevent an HTML Block from rendering in the Top Bar when the block is published and correctly assigned in the Header Builder?
I’m going nuts trying to figure this out..
Thank you
