A few months ago, I built a test site with a nulled theme. The site worked fine, and now I’ve purchased an official theme. But what’s the problem? I’ve made too many changes to the existing site, and I don’t want to start over. Is there any way to replace the old nulled theme with an officially purchased theme?
Replacing the nulled theme with the official version should not remove your content, settings, or custom code stored in the database. However, if you have modified the theme files directly, those changes will be overwritten when installing the official version.
We strongly recommend creating a full backup of your website before proceeding. If you have custom code added to the theme files, consider moving it to a child theme or to the Custom CSS section before replacing the theme.
