Checkout AJAX error: orders save in backend but redirect fails
-
Hello XTEMOS team,
We are experiencing a persistent issue with the checkout process on our WoodMart-powered store.
– The Problem: When a customer places an order (e.g., via Bank Transfer), the order is successfully created and saved in the WooCommerce backend database. However, on the front-end, the checkout page gets stuck and displays a yellow notice: “An error occurred while processing your order…”
– The Failure: The page fails to redirect to the “Order Received” (Thank you) page via the standard AJAX response cycle, leaving customers stranded on the checkout form despite their payment/order being registered.
– Troubleshooting Done: We have verified that all core settings are configured properly and tested with standard layouts, but WoodMart’s AJAX checkout handling appears to conflict with the response trigger, causing the redirect to stall.
Could you please provide a hotfix or guidance on how to resolve this AJAX redirect/notice conflict?
Thank you for your support.
