davidParticipantHello WoodMart Support,
I’m experiencing an issue with Floating Blocks and WPML.
The German Floating Block works correctly, but its English translation causes two problems:
1. On the German website (original language), both Floating Blocks are displayed simultaneously. On the English website, only the English version appears.
2. The English translation does not inherit the Floating Block settings. It appears centered instead of bottom-right and has no close button.
The English version was translated using the WPML Translation Editor. Floating Blocks are set to “Translatable” in WPML.
How can I fix these issues and ensure that the Floating Block settings are correctly synchronized between translations?
Can you try it out in your test environment first before asking me for the login credentials?
Thank you for your help!
Best regards,

davidParticipantSo the error doesn’t occur for you when you try to reproduce it using WoodMart (Gutenberg only) and WPML?
September 29, 2026 at 2:08 pm #730302Hello,
Your issue is related to WPML not being fully configured for the Floating Block. In order to determine exactly what needs to be configured, we need access to your website.
Best Regards.

davidParticipantBut you say that your theme is fully compatible with WPML. To verify that, you must have a test environment set up with WoodMart and WPML. Can you translate the floating blocks without any issues using WPML?
It’s difficult for us if you test this on our live website. That’s because the bug causes, among other things, a fixed element to appear in the center of the screen on every page of the website, even if you limit the initialization of the Floating Block to a specific page.
September 30, 2026 at 9:21 am #730329Hello,
Yes, WoodMart is fully compatible with WPML, and Floating Blocks work correctly with it.
However, WPML provides a large number of configuration options for custom post types, custom fields, translation preferences, and synchronization between languages. Because of this, it is not possible to predict every possible configuration out of the box.
In your case, the behavior you described most likely depends on the current WPML settings for Floating Blocks and their custom fields. This is why we need to check the configuration on your website to determine which particular option needs to be adjusted.
We are not asking for access to test the issue directly on your live frontend. We need it mainly to inspect your current WPML configuration and understand why the translated Floating Block is being treated differently from the original one.
Best Regards.

davidParticipantThank you very much!
Could you please tell me what settings you’ve configured to fix this?
And is there a way to control when the floating block reappears for a user after they’ve closed it? If I understand correctly, the cookie expires after one week.
October 1, 2026 at 9:18 am #730379Hello,
Regarding the configuration, we have added several post meta fields to the WPML copy settings to ensure everything works correctly. However, we have already contacted the WPML team to make this configuration automatic, so users will not need to set it up manually.
Regarding your second question, unfortunately, no.
Best Regards.
