Reply To: How to set size of product image gallery + gallery for variable products

Product images size is controlled by WooCommerce, not the theme. You can enable hard crop in Appearance -> Customize -> WooCommerce -> Product images. You can also try to disable the product page full-width option and make it boxed. This will make the images section smaller.
