You can fill the demo page with your content and save. You can create your own template and fill with the content.

I think my question is not clear to you. when i save the template of the home page would it be filled with the content in the saved copy because i am talking about the wasted time of refilling the content every time? or i have to create the content from the beginning in this saved template? or it will not save the content, are there a way to save the content if i need to change the template?
