    Hi,

    First of all: thank you so much for making this beautiful theme!
    I’ve found a lot of answers on my questions in this forum, but I still have a few questions left:

    1) Menu: I want ‘Top 10’ and ‘Uitgevers’ to look the same as ‘Bordspellen’, ‘Kaartspellen’ and ‘Coöperatief’, but for some reason it won’t look like that. When I change the designs ‘Custom Fields’ to ‘Set sizes’ → dropdown width 800 and dropdown height 100 (like I did with ‘Bordspellen’, etc.) and I save the menu, it automatically goes back to ‘default’). I tried it with 3 subitems instead of 4 (in case that was the problem), but that won’t work either.
    Footer mobiel (ruimte en nieuwsbrief inschrijving weg)

    2) Is it possible to change the product images to 500px x 500 px instead of 550px x 550px?

    3) Google Maps is smaller than the footer and it isn’t high enough. How can I make it fix next to the Info (“Kom je spelletjes spelen?”) above the footer (on the homepage)?

    4) Can I delete the hover effect on the products at all, but that the products still look like this?

    5) How can I remove the ‘Sold out (Uitverkocht) buttons’?

    6) I don’t want to show every row on the mobile homepage. But when I make sure some columns are not shown on the mobile homepage, he still shows some of the background of the rows (you can see the blue and white spaces above the footer). How can I make sure the entire row isn’t visible on the mobile homepage?

    8) I also have this problem with the mobile footer. I’ve made some HTML blocks invisible for mobile, but now there is a lot of ‘blue space’. I just want to show the menu in the mobile footer. Is that possible?

    9) Also, the newsletter form disappeared in the footer. Do you know how to fix that?

    Hello,
    Thank you very much for choosing our theme and for contacting us.

    1) Menu: I want ‘Top 10’ and ‘Uitgevers’ to look the same as ‘Bordspellen’…

    First of all, It is necessary to create an HTML block separately for each menu item. Dashboard > HTML blocks > Add new. HTML block is a WordPress custom post type with WP Bakery page builder option allowing create any template.
    Megamenu block is created by means of the Extra Menu list element. At the same time, Megamenu block can contain any other static content element such as Product Grid, Images, Texts blocks.
    As soon as Megamenu blocks are ready, they may be added to menu items in Appearance > Menu > Select menu > enter menu item > insert the shortcode into Description.

    2) Is it possible to change the product images to 500px x 500 px instead of 550px x 550px?

    In order to configure the main image, navigate to Appearance – > Customize -> WooCommerce -> Product Image and find the size option for product page image as well as images in a grid:

    Main image width – Image size used for the main image on single product pages. These images will remain uncropped. Image width used in demo sites are: 600px;

    3) Google Maps is smaller than the footer and it isn’t high enough…

    Find the option of setting the width and height just in the Google element https://prnt.sc/owwpiz

    4) Can I delete the hover effect on the products at all, but that the products still look like this?

    Now, the second image appears on hover, if you do not want that, disable the option, https://prnt.sc/owwpiz if you mean, something different, please clarify, how you want it to behave?

    5) How can I remove the ‘Sold out (Uitverkocht) buttons’?

    Please add this CSS code to the Theme Settings > Custom CSS > Global:

    body .labels-rounded .out-of-stock {
    display:none;
    }

    6) I don’t want to show every row on the mobile homepage…

    You would better apply inner row. So you hide the column on the device, and all the content with the background is contained in the inner row. Here is the video tutorial to figure out what I mean https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/insert-inner-row-wpbakery-page-builder-wordpress/

    8) I also have this problem with mobile footer…

    Try to apply the same solution as described in #8

    9) Also, the newsletter form disappeared in the footer. Do you know how to fix that?

    You can add the shortcode to the text block. The shortcode is taken in the plugin https://gyazo.com/cf30b3dd56c5350efd3b571b1e9dcdd5

    Hi Elise,

    Thank you for all your answers! The row-in-row solution worked, thank you so much!

    1) I don’t know what you mean with the HTML blocks & Megamenu blocks. I didn’t need that to make the menu look like Bordspellen. I just made that like in the demo version. Appearence > Menu > The Menu I need > Category Bordspellen > Custom fields [for theme] > Set Sizes. And I changed the sizes to dropdown width 800 and dropdown height 100. I also added the image here. It did work with Bordspellen, Kaartspellen & Coöperatief, but when I try to the exactly the same with party spellen, top 10 and uitgevers, it won’t work. When I save the menu, it automatically goes back to ‘default’). I tried it with 3 subitems instead of 4 (in case that was the problem), but that won’t work either.

    2) I want the product to like how it’s looking right now, so I choose for ‘show button on hover on image’. But I don’t want a button on hover. I want nothing to happen when you hover. (Like in our current design: https://whatawonderfulwedding.nl/product-categorie/bruiloft-decoratie/hangende-decoratie/lampionnen/)

    3) Is it possible to show only the title of the blog? No excerpt, no ‘read more’ and no ‘leave a comment’? (The blogs are on the home page, just above the footer.)

    4) I would also like to change the font of the blog titles (only on the home page, in the carrousel). A little bit smaller would be great. Is that possible?

    5) I managed to change the background colour of the submenu (dropdown) on the mobile version (with a code I found on the forum). But how can I change the background of the sub-submenu dropdown? (The third level.) Like, when I click on ‘Bordspellen’ on the mobile menu, the submenu is light grey (I fixed this already). And when I click on ‘Familiespellen’, the sub-submenu is darker grey (I don’t know how to fix this.)

    6) On mobile: there’s a lot of white space between the last item (Azul) and the footer. It think that’s because of the HTML block that I put in the ‘before footer’-space. I’ve tried to fix it with the ‘inner-row’ thing, but that’s not working in this case. Could you help me with this?

    Best regards!

    Hello,

    1. When I save the menu, it automatically goes back to ‘default’

    Please read and follow this instruction: https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/faq-guides-2/menu-doesnt-save-custom-fields/

    2. Products. But I don’t want a button on hover. I want nothing to happen when you hover

    I am confused. Now when I hover the product, nothing happens: https://gyazo.com/14c4acd585f878f38efbdc6a7dc4e9e2

    3. Is it possible to show only the title of the blog?

    Please remove all in the Theme Settings > Blog > Post excerpt https://gyazo.com/517be7cc566cddae5a7376ed2e8eb826

    4. I would also like to change the font of the blog titles

    You can change the font by means of Advanced typography option, which allows to choose the item from a drop-down or insert your custom CSS class. Please navigate to the Theme Settings > Typography > Advanced Typography.

    Here is the documentation providing more detailed instructions: https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/advanced-typography-settings-2/

    5. Please add this code to the Theme Settings > Custom CSS > Global:

    body .color-scheme-dark .sub-menu li a{
       background-color:green;
    }

    6. On mobile: there’s a lot of white space between the last item (Azul) and the footer.

    The dark color of the footer and pre-footer backgrounds make the Main page wrapper bottom padding visible and white space between the pre-footer and footer occurs.In order to remove the gap, enter the HTML block, which is used in the Theme Settings > Footer > Pre-footer area and set margin-bottom: – 40px; to the row. If there are a few rows in the template, the margin should be set to the last one. If it is not pre-footer, however, the last row of the continent has the color or image background the gap may occur between the content and the footer. In this case, you should set margin-bottom for the last row in the page.

    Hi Elise,

    1) That worked, thanks!

    2) Yes, that’s correct. I want nothing to happen on my new site (www.despelletjesvrieden.nl) like on my old site (www.whatawonderfulwedding.nl). But when I hover on De Spelletjes Vrienden, you see a button that says ‘in winkelmand’. (https://despelletjesvrienden.nl/product-categorie/bordspellen/gezelschapsspellen/istanbul/) I don’t want the button with ‘in winkelmand’. I want nothing to happen, like on my old site.

    3) Could I also remove the ‘leave a message’ (in Dutch: Laat een reactie achter) text in the blog carrousel on my homepage?

    4) That worked, thanks!

    5) I already have this code:

    body .mobile-nav {
        background-color: #ffffff;

    }
    body .color-scheme-dark .sub-menu li {
        color: #ffffff;
    }
    body .mobile-nav .sub-menu-dropdown ul {
         background-color: #F5F5F5;
    }
    body .mobile-nav ul li a {
        font-size: 14px;
        text-transform: none;
        color: #333333;
    }
    body .mobile-nav .icon-sub-menu:after,
    body .mobile-nav .icon-sub-menu:before {
        background-color: #333333;
    }
    body .mobile-nav .searchform button {
        color: #333333;
    }
    .mobile-nav .searchform input[type=text]::-webkit-input-placeholder { /* Chrome/Opera/Safari */
      color: #7C7C7C;
    }
    .mobile-nav .searchform input[type=text]::-moz-placeholder { /* Firefox 19+ */
      color: #7C7C7C;
    }
    .mobile-nav .searchform input[type=text]:-ms-input-placeholder { /* IE 10+ */
      color: #7C7C7C;
    }
    .mobile-nav .searchform input[type=text]:-moz-placeholder { /* Firefox 18- */
      color: #7C7C7C;
    }
    body .mobile-nav .searchform input[type=text] {
        color:#7C7C7C;
    }
    body .mobile-nav .autocomplete-suggestions {
        background-color: #ffffff;
    }
    body .mobile-nav .autocomplete-suggestions .suggestion-title {
        color:#7C7C7C;
    }
    body .mobile-nav ul li a:hover,
    body .mobile-nav ul li a:focus{
        color: #333333;
    }
    body .autocomplete-suggestions .suggestion-price span{
            color: #949494;
    }
    body .color-scheme-dark .sub-menu li a {
        color: #333333;
    }

    And that makes the background of the dropdown menu looks grey (which I want) but I would like the background of the third level dropdown menu look darker grey.
    https://prnt.sc/oz78h5

    6) That worked, thanks!

    7) Is it possible to remove this line? https://prnt.sc/oz7aes

    8) Is it possible to make these arrows a little bit smaller? https://prnt.sc/oz7b2w

    9) Is it possible to make the titles of the footer widgets normal instead of uppercase?

    Best Regards

    Hi Elise,

    The codes worked, thank you so much!

    I don’t know what you mean by ‘the site does not work’? When I have a look at it now, everything works.

    The remaining questions:

    1) I want nothing to happen on http://www.despelletjesvrienden.nl when I hoover the products

    2) Remove ‘Leave a message’
    Could I also remove the ‘leave a message’ (in Dutch: Laat een reactie achter) text in the blog carrousel on my homepage?

    3) Background third level menu mobile
    I know I can change the background of all dropdown menu’s with this code.
    I already did change that and made it look grey.

    body .mobile-nav .sub-menu-dropdown ul {
         background-color: #F5F5F5;
    }

    But now I would only like to change the background of the third level dropdown menu (https://prnt.sc/oz78h5).

    Could you give me the code to change the third level? 🙂

    Hi,

    The site doesnt’t work because the URL is incorrect. It should be: http://www.despelletjesvrienden.nl (with an ‘n’).

    1) I choose for ‘show button on hover on image’.

    2) That worked, thanks!

    3) That worked, thanks!
