BROWSE CATEGORIES menu: Category + Brand Filter

hi

is this possible to get one category and one brand selected in filters?

this page shows one brand, but i want this brand, with a particular category, how can we apply this both filter combined in the BROWSE CATEGORIES menu?

Hello,

Browse category is a menu created in Appearance > Menu.

Mega blocks for each menu item are HTML blocks and you can insert any content there. For example, you can show all the attributes links (brand, color, type) related to this category.

As for the shop page, you can add filter widgets and set which category it should be shown. So, when you chose the category “clock”, for example, the brand attribute would be shown and you will be able to choose the brand within this category.

If you want a specific menu for a certain page, you would better use Mega Menu widget element

I added a product category to the Categories menu to show product-category/ page

then I found this:
If you want to create brands filters, you can use our WOODMART WooCommerce Layered Nav widget in Appearance -> Widgets. There, you just need to add it to the filters area or to the shop page sidebar and choose your brands attribute.

this just fixed the showing attribute filter issue and shows brand/functions properly.

Now, how do we enable (checked) a particular brand attribute in a menu? e.g. I want menu name to be Boss (an attribute value for brands), how do i achieve this?

I am afraid I do not follow your idea completely.

You show the attribute filter by brand. Boss is an attribute item.

You want to have the menu item with all the brands, don’t you? If you do not, please clarify in more detail.

if you want a menu item leading to all the brands or a menu item leading to a certain brand, you can implement that by means of a custom link with the appropriate URL in Appearance > Menu > your menu.

I wanted to show one particular brand through a menu.
You’ve said custom link it is, i thought there would be a way to use product category menu types etc..

Woocommmerce does not allow showing one brand (one attribute item) per category with the attribute filters.

I suggested a trick, if it is not suitable for you you will have to search a plugin expanding the Woocommerce filter widgets functionality.
