    Hi team<

    Good day.

    https://snipboard.io/HXzxdt.jpg

As you can see from the screenshot, how can I change the default wording “Search for Products” in the search bar. There’s no products to search on the site. I want to change it to other wording. Please provide me any custom CSS that I can insert myself and change the wording anytime from my end.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello,

You can translate/rewrite all theme and plugin texts via PO file in WordPress. Here is a video tutorial that should help you translate your website texts with a Loco Translate plugin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3NsDdMzsls&list=PLMw6W4rAaOgKKv0oexGHzpWBg1imvrval&index=3

Please check the video tutorial to see how to save the translation file correctly. You can remove the plugin and translations would remain. Also, translations would remain after each theme update.

    Best Regards

HI Elise, thank you for your reply. But this is not what I’m looking for. I’m not seeking to translate the content.

Can you view the screenshot again that I sent earlier?

What I want is super simple, I just want to change the wording “search for products” to something else. Do you understand my query?

    Thank you

    Hello,

When you create the translation in the language that is set in your site, Loco just rewrites the strings. This is the only correct way to change the text.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards
