    Hi guys,
First of all I’d like to apologize for opening so many tickets and I hope I still haven’t gotten on your nerves. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m enjoying the Woodmart theme very much and our website is a big success so I have become obsessed with keeping everything up to date and working properly.

I’d also like to apologize for recording videos of the issues rather than typing everything; I feel like it can save both of us some time if I simply show you visually.

So, I updated the theme on our staging website (https://dev2.wildguitars.co.il) and thankfully the issues seem to be minimal compared to the previous big update from version 5 to version 6.

I have uploaded three separate videos for issues on the homepage, category page and cart popup sidebar. Please let me know if you are able to assist.

    Hello,

You have not updated WoodMart core and Woocommerce. I have updated it, the banners are nice, the shopping cart looks and works correctly.

Please delete CMB2 plugin this plugin is no more needed and cause the problem. Then activate the rest plugins on the development site one by one, checking your site to detect which one causes the problem.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards

    Hi Elise,
Apologies for forgetting to update the relevant plugins and thank you for catching this.

The banners and cart have certainly started working again.
I still do see a small “false” text on the right-side arrow of the banner:
    https://pasteboard.co/KgsfEnF.png
Do you know what is causing this?

Regarding CMB2, I am always afraid of deleting active elements on the website when deleting a plugin. Is there a way for me to know if there is anything on the website that is currently using this plugin?

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hello,

Do not be afraid to delete CMB2. This plugin conflicts the recent versions and cause many problems. If you have Redux, delete it as well.

I still do see a small โ€œfalseโ€ text on the right-side arrow of the banner:
    https://pasteboard.co/KgsfEnF.png

Please provide the page URL. I cannot find the problem.

    Best Regards

Hi Elise, apologies for the delay in my reply.
Regarding the “false” text, it’s on the banner on the homepage. Please take a closer look at the screenshot link that I provided in my previous email; I’ve drawn a red square around the issue. https://pasteboard.co/KgsfEnF.png

    Regarding your message:
Please delete CMB2 plugin this plugin is no more needed and cause the problem. Then activate the rest plugins on the development site one by one, checking your site to detect which one causes the problem.

Which problem are you referring to? You wrote that CMB2 is no longer needed and that it causes the problem, and then you wrote that I need to re-enable the rest of the plugins to see which one causes the problem.

So far I still haven’t re-enabled any plugins and all of the filters in the category page are displayed, instead of being closed by default.

    Best regards,
    Tom

    Hello,

I still cannot find the text you show on the screen: https://gyazo.com/bb2442b35b255cf9928c758662f6bc44

As for the plugins: delete SMB2 forever.

As for the others: deactivate all excepting those related to the theme, check the issue, then activate one by one to detect which one causes the issue.

    Best Regards

Hi Elise, it seems you are checking our live site and not our staging site – I have not yet updated our live site until we resolve all of the issues. ๐Ÿ™‚

Please take a look at the banner on https://dev2.wildguitars.co.il

    Hello,

I am looking through the link you provided, and I do not see this banner, perhaps you mean another page, is so, please provide the link. Here is what I see https://gyazo.com/ab4038be8245c301c7d920b0b59ff4bc

The capture does not relate to our theme https://gyazo.com/ab4038be8245c301c7d920b0b59ff4bc

Please provide the page URL with this banner.

    Hi Elise,
I apologize for the delay in getting back to you, things have been very busy over here.
The homepage banner seems to be working fine, please disregard this comment.

Right now it looks like there is one issue – the spinning loader on category pages after choosing a filter has disappeared.

    Live site (6.0.4):

    Staging site (6.1.4):

Hi Elise, thank you for the prompt reply.

Please note that the preloader you are referring to has never been enabled on our website. I just tried enabling it on the staging website, and I can see the preloader when switching pages (which I don’t need) but there is no preloader when clicking on a filter in a category. Also, after enabling the preloader that you are referring to, the website gets “locked” and I can’t scroll up and down. Please see the following screen recording that shows the differences between our live website and our staging website.

Also, after the theme update the price filter ruler has disappeared from the sidebar in the categories. I consulted with my web developer and he says that it’s related to the theme; can you please check this for me?

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hello,

Please check your staging site if it works properly now. Kee the set of plugins as it is and remains on the parent theme.

Hi Elise, thank you for your reply.
The loader animation is now working, but there is still no price filter like there is on the live website.

    Hello,

There are two Price widgets in Appearance > Widget: one Wooocmmerce default and one Woodmart, add both to the shop page widget area, check, and delete that one you do not like.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Hi Elise,
    Thank you for your reply.

I tried adding the WOODMART Price Filter to the “Shop filters” section, but I don’t see it in the category sidebar. Perhaps I didn’t do it correctly?

Also, I wonder why the price widget was deleted? Was it because of the theme update? Or perhaps a WordPress or WooCommerce update?

Finally, can you please explain how you got the preloader animation to work again?

    Best regards,
    Tom

    Hello,

The Shop fillets are the area at the top of the shop page under the title.

If you want to add those widgets to the sidebar, you need to add the widgets to the shop page widget area. Find our documentation tutorial about this here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/widgets/

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards
