yannismichailParticipantHi WoodMart support,
I’m hitting a reproducible PHP fatal that crashes the Elementor editor whenever a custom product loop is used to render a Products element in the editor’s config-build pass. The frontend renders fine — this is editor-context only.
Environment:
– WoodMart 8.5.5 (+ child theme)
– WooCommerce (latest), WordPress 6.9.1
– Elementor + Elementor Pro (both updated and version-matched)
– PHP 8.x, SiteGround GoGeekOn the frontend the same code path works because the product global is established per item, so this only manifests in the editor’s config build.
How to reproduce:
1. Create a custom product loop (WoodMart Layouts) that includes the product price element.
2. Set it as the default product layout (Theme Settings), OR add a Products (grid/carousel) element with Product design = Custom in an Elementor template.
3. Open that template in the Elementor editor. The editor fatals during load.
4. Switching the element / global back to the predefined product design loads fine. Thanks for looking into it.
Best regards,
YannisJuly 22, 2026 at 11:16 am #724147Hello,
I have tested this issue on our test site by creating a custom Loop Item and assigning it to the Product Grid/Carousel widget, and it is working correctly without any fatal errors in the Elementor editor.
If you are experiencing different behavior, please record a short video showing the exact steps to reproduce the issue on your site and share it with us.
Additionally, please try temporarily deactivating third-party plugins that are not related to the theme and check if the issue still occurs.
If the issue persists after testing, please share your WordPress admin login details along with the steps to reproduce the issue so we can investigate it further.
Best Regards

yannismichailParticipantHi i created a recording to show you. Thank you in advance.
July 23, 2026 at 9:17 am #724183Hello,
Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only the theme-required plugins on the site, and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and share the WP admin login details of your site so I can check and give you a possible solution.
Best Regards

yannismichailParticipantI followed your suggestion and disabled all third-party plugins one by one, but unfortunately there was no change, so the issue does not appear to be caused by a plugin conflict.
To isolate the problem further, I created several new Product Loop layouts from scratch and tested each element individually. During this process, I narrowed the issue down to the Product Additional Information element.
Here are the results of my testing:
If I remove the Product Additional Information element from the Product Loop, the Elementor editor opens and works normally.
As soon as I add the element back, the issue returns.
With Data Source = All, the editor works correctly.
With Data Source = Include, selecting only my “Characteristics” attribute causes the Elementor editor to crash.
I then created a brand new test attribute and selected only that attribute using Data Source = Include. The editor crashes in exactly the same way.The frontend continues to work correctly in all cases. The issue only occurs in the Elementor editor while editing the Single Product template.
Based on these tests, the problem seems to be related to the Include option of the Product Additional Information element rather than to a specific WooCommerce attribute or a third-party plugin.
Please let me know if there is anything else you’d like me to test or if I can provide additional debugging information.

yannismichailParticipantok thank you, in order to see the issue, go to layouts, the Prasino product loop has the additional information with the source now set to all so the single product layout can be edited with Elementor. the moment you put the source to include only characteristics the issue arises. i even tried the test attribute and it happens the same.

yannismichailParticipantThank you for fixing the previous issue.
After applying the fix, I tested the Product Additional Information element again inside the Product Loop.
The crash is resolved, however the attributes are now not rendered at all in the loop item.
I tested both Data Source → Include only and Data Source → All, and the result is the same. The Product Additional Information block renders only an empty container int he product loop item.
Please could you take a look? thank you in advance
