We need to customise the “All Categories” menu on our website to align with our brand, navigation strategy, and user‑experience requirements. Specifically:
Review and update the list of categories displayed (add/remove/reorder items)
Ensure that sub‑categories appear (or don’t appear) as per our taxonomy strategy
Apply custom styling (fonts, colours, icons, hover behaviour) consistent with the Datazo InfoTech brand guidelines
Ensure responsive behaviour (mobile/tablet) is correct for the dropdown/menu expansion
Implement any required user‑interaction behaviour (e.g., open‑on‑click vs hover; keeping menu closed until action)
Test the menu in the live environment after changes to confirm correct operation across browsers and devices
Priority: High (navigation is a key touchpoint in our user journey)
Assigned to: Web Development / UI‑UX Team
Requested by: Rubbaite T. Hassain, PhD, Managing Director & CEO – Datazo InfoTech
Additional Notes:
Provide screenshot(s) of the current menu and the desired state (if available)
Retain the ability to easily update category items through the CMS in future
Maintain analytical tracking on menu‑item clicks as per our UX metrics (existing setup)
Ensure no adverse impact to SEO (category URLs remain consistent or redirect logic applied)
