Fixed discounts for bundle items

How do we go about adding discounts for bundles which have variants in them?
we have 4 variable products and lets assume the user buys the 3 of the products with 1 associated variant, we want to offer him fixed % or an amount discount. How do we achieve this?

Frequently brought Item isn’t an option as we have multiple variants for these 4 items and frequently brought item wont work owing the number of combinations possible.

Sorry to say but there isn’t such a Fixed Discount option separately available under the Theme, you might need to use a third party Plugin in this regard that best suits you.

Although, under the Frequently Bought Together (FBT) you can define the discount according to the available option.

The FBTG wont work when its applied to a variable product as the container doesn’t allow one to select the variants. May be its an enhancement you can consider.

So, we have checked the concern related to FBT on our Test Site by adding FBT on a Variable Product > and then tried adding the FBT Products add to cart and they were added fine to the Cart. You can check the following Product from Test Site in this regard:

So, we don’t seem to find any issues with that under the Theme. Could you please elaborate further with Screenshots related to this concern at your end so that we can better understand and assist you accordingly.

Our concern starts with the variable not being picked by the product search window of bundle manager.

Steps to recreate:
1. Assume we are adding a variable product as a bundle for an item – (https://stage.hexa-gt.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=2834&action=edit)

2. Lets assume, we want to add variable item with id: 8546 – https://stage.hexa-gt.com/product/toprack/

3. Now lets create a bundle and search for that item (8546) it doesn’t show up.

Sorry for a bit of delay in the response due to the weekend !

We have confirmed this concern from our Development Department, right now there isn’t Search by ID functionality available in that input field for FBT.

So, you need to enter the Product Name there to find and select Product accordingly.
