user-iParticipantHi.
In the main menu the “Catalog” item is only highlighted, when I am directly on the Catalog main page. As I go to a subcategory, the menu item has no highlight. How can I fix it?FYI, now I use a custom layout for the main Catalog page (created with the Layouts builder). If I switch to the default layout, the main menu item gets highlighted after I entar any category from the main catalog page, but it disappears anyway after I enter a product page. But the default layout is no good for my website.
I tried enabling and disabling the Yoast breadcrumbs, it did not help.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Can you please explain the issue with the small video for a better understanding?
Thankyou in advance!
Best Regards.

user-iParticipantVideo attached.
I can not show you the catalog, because the website is open to public, but the catalog is not ready. Please, check the News menu item in the top menu instead.
When on the top level of the top menu, there is an underlining of the top menu item I have enteres. As soon as I go to a single blog post, there is no underlining on the top menu. What should I do to have the top menu item always underlined, when I am in the single blog post (or a single product)?March 3, 2024 at 5:12 pm #545775

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Maybe you are using the custom header on your site, Woodmart theme provides the option to create different headers for different pages:
https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/how-to-set-different-header-for-specific-page/You can check the custom header for a separate page and edit it.
https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/options-for-pages/You need to edit each header with header builder > Configure main menu settings and in the style tab choose the menu style “Underline”.
Best Regards.

user-iParticipantThe custom header did not help.
My question is, that the main menu item gets always underlined if I am on the top level (e.g., in the blog archive). Let’s say, it helps me understand, that right now I am in the blog. But there is no underlining as soon as I enter a single blog post.
So, when in the blog archive, I know that I am in the blog. When I am on the single post page, the main menu item is not underlines, and I am not aware that I am in the blog now.
Please, advice, how can I get the main menu item always underlined, when I am either in the blog archive, or in the single post.March 5, 2024 at 12:23 pm #546286

user-iParticipantCould you enter the website without the login first as a guest please? Below I attach two screenshots. #1 shows the blog archive, #2 the blog post. Please check, that when on the blog archive page, the blue underlining in the main menu underlines the right word. When I enter the blog post, there is no underlining under the right word in the main menu.

user-iParticipantOr let me describe the issue as follows: enter any blog post or a single product. None of the items in the main menu is highlited or underlined. Then enter the blog archive or product archive, and you will see, that an item in the main menu is highlited or underlined. My question is: how can I do to have the item always highlited or underlined, no matter if I am in the blog archive or a blog post.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
The underline option in the menu is designed to work on the blog archive page, highlighting the current section you’re in. However, on single blog posts, it doesn’t underline the menu item as it’s not considered a separate section like the blog archive. This is normal behavior.
You can check the same on our test site.
