Noticed an issue with CSS loading
-
Hey guys, I have noticed something that occurs on multiple sites using Woodmart. If I use custom CSS to make some modifications, especially on the blog pages (archive, single post), it occasionally requires a page refresh for the code to be visible. Please see this video for reference. I explain: I have added custom CSS for the single blog post to 1) hide the featured image, 2) make the categories above rounded vs with zero border radius and 3) remove the author from the single post. Sometimes when I open a post, I don’t see the changes made with CSS and they only appear after reloading the page. Is this a known issue? I’m attaching a link to my site blog area and the codes I have used for reference.
Hello,
Clear your site and browser cache after making CSS changes.
Purge/disable CSS optimization temporarily in your caching plugin and check if the issue disappears.
Make sure your custom CSS is added in the correct place, like Theme Settings > Custom CSS.
This isn’t a known theme issue — it’s generally caused by caching or optimization settings delaying CSS updates.
Best Regards,
Hello, thank you for the reply. I don’t have any CSS optimization set up, nor caching plug-in as the site is in development. The issue persists across multiple sites using Woodmart. It also occurs on private tab. What would the next step be, please?
Hello, you may close the topic, I was able to resolve the issue by using alternative classes for CSS.
