Issue Summary: I’ve set the phone field to “required” using a Checkout Field Editor plugin for WooCommerce. However, on the actual checkout page, the phone field still appears optional. I’ve confirmed the plugin settings are correct, deactivated other plugins, and checked WooCommerce’s default behavior. Despite this, the phone field requirement isn’t taking effect.
What I’ve Tried:
Plugin Conflict Check: Temporarily deactivated all plugins except WooCommerce and the Checkout Field Editor—no change.
Theme Inspection: Looked through Woodmart’s theme settings but couldn’t find an obvious option forcing phone to be optional.
Is there a known issue with Woodmart overriding the required/optional state of checkout fields?
Are there any specific Woodmart settings or code snippets I should update or remove to force the phone field to be required?
