Product Gallery (beta) block does not have image control in woodmart theme?

Hello,

I’m using the Product Gallery (Beta) block to build a single-product page. When I use a default WordPress theme, the block’s sidebar offers controls for image dimensions and aspect ratio, which makes it easy to adjust the gallery layout.

When I activate WoodMart, those controls disappear—the block only displays basic typography options. If I add the block and set the aspect ratio while using Twenty Twenty‑Five, then switch to WoodMart, the settings persist, but I can’t adjust them any further in WoodMart.

Are there plans to add full Gutenberg/WooCommerce block support to WoodMart so that blocks like Product Gallery (Beta) expose their design settings? Alternatively, does WoodMart use a different method for customizing product gallery images that I should be using?

I’ve attached screenshots showing the comparison between themes.

Hello,

By default, this block doesn’t have such settings. You can see how it’s originally designed when using our theme. However, some themes, like Twenty Twenty Five, add special settings for core WordPress blocks.

As of now, we don’t have plans to extend the default functionality of the WordPress core blocks.

The problem with Product Gallery is the image is set 1×1 ratio by default. And therfore now way to change it.

So if image is horizontal there are gaps top and bottom.

If I understand correctly you have this only with elementor and wpbakery and not gutenberg.
I can see “Product gallery – featured image and additional product images.”

I need it for one product home page element.

Not sure if single product can be set for home page.
If you have idea how to use woodmart in this case.

I probably can use shortcode like [product_page id="xx"] in any home page.

But Woodmart Layouts for shortcode [product_page id="xx"] does not apply. Only for single product page.

Yes, it works on the single product page only. Unfortunately, it is not possible to use it on a single page like the home page. We will consider adding such functionality in the future.
