Product video player opens direct link to YouTube

    The URL for videoplayer on the Product opens up the video in a direct link to YouTube instead of opening in a Lightbox. How can this be changed so it opens on site instead?

    I have been looking around for an option for this since I found it odd, that no option to display in Lightbox was present.

    I suggest you enable the “Main carousel with video” option in Theme Settings -> Single product -> Images: https://take.ms/98ju6

    Then navigate to the Product and define the link directly to the image: https://take.ms/JUM2h

    Hello Luke thank you kindly for the quick response!
    It seems like the video won’t load when activated. Second is there an option for opening the video in a Lightbox directly when clicking the play button on the product?

    Unfortunately, there is no such functionality to show video via Lightbox, sorry. As for the loading issue, please send me access to the admin dashboard so I will check it on your side. Also, please confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, and switching to the parent. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable all back.

    Hello,

    Seems that the “GTM4” plugin is impacting the functionality of the video player’s JavaScript, causing it to not work properly.

    So I left it disabled and you can upload your own video to the product and check it.

    That worked! It is now playing the video within the container on the product images, but there appears to be some odd black lines on either side of the video despite the video being covered?

    I have tried emptying the cache, oddly enough it still appears to be an issue on my browser. I am using Safari. I tried in Chrome and had no issue, so it seems it is on Safari only.

    That is incredibly odd! It seems like there is issues with the shop in general now where it will not load anything at all.
    All other pages still function as normal. I am glad that the video is working as intended but confused why everything else has now ceased to function.

    On my end the entire shop page is unresponsive now. Every other page functions normally.

    It seems like the issue persists but only on my computer, I have tried in different browsers and in incognito. We tried on my colleagues computer and it works perfectly fine. I am working from a brand new computer. I have tried regenerating CSS & Data and syncing Library, it made no difference in my browser.

    To me it seems like something is halting the loading process on initial load of the page but I can’t open the console before it freezes all actions.

    I have tried to. It seems like the issue is also present on other computers now. My colleague tried to open the shop page yesterday and it worked. We tried again today and it seems like the issue is now there as well.

    Firstly, please deactivate all plugins except these ones:

    WPBakery Page Builder or Elementor
    Woodmart Core
    WooCommerce

    If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.

    Hello! I have found the issue. The plugin GTM4WP (Google Tag Manager) was causing a fatal loading error on the single product page. I have deactivated the plugin, and all functions on the page has resumed to function.
