    Dear XTemos Support Team,

I have a question regarding the Services section in the Luman theme.

In the demo, I noticed there appears to be a dedicated Services page/section where services are displayed. I would like to create a similar structure on my website, comparable to the Portfolio system, where I can:

    Create individual service items/pages
    Organize services into categories
    Display service archives or listings
Build dedicated pages for each service with their own URLs

However, I cannot find a specific Services custom post type or Services menu within the theme settings or WordPress dashboard.

    Could you please clarify:

Does the Luman theme include a built-in Services custom post type (CPT) similar to Portfolio?
If yes, where can I enable or manage it?
If not, how was the Services section in the demo created?
Is it built using Elementor templates, custom post types, or another method?

I would appreciate guidance on the recommended way to build a structured services section with categories using the Luman theme.

    Thank you for your support.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    To clarify:
    – Luman doesn’t include a built‑in “Services” custom post type. That’s why you don’t see a Services menu in the dashboard.
    – The “Our Services” section in the demo is not a CPT archive. It’s a regular page built with Elementor using the theme’s custom Elementor widgets:
    https://space.xtemos.com/demo/lumen/our-services/

How to recreate the demo-style Services page:
    – Create a new page (e.g., “Our Services”).
    – Edit with Elementor.
    – Use the theme’s Elementor widgets (icons, boxes, grids, buttons) to build your service cards/sections.
    – If you need individual service detail pages, create standard WordPress pages for each service and link your cards/buttons to those pages.

If you need a structured system with categories, archives, and dedicated single URLs:
    – This requires a custom post type and taxonomy, which Luman does not register by default.
    – You can implement it via custom development or a third‑party plugin that creates custom post types/taxonomies.
    – Once the CPT and categories are in place, you can design your listings and single pages using your preferred method (e.g., page builder templates or theme templates).

    Kind regards,
    XTemos Studio
