I lost the compare page & tried making a new one as per these instructions https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/woodmart-compare/ & by manually adding in the shortcode [woodmart_compare]. I’m getting an internal 500 error when saving the page with the shortcode or the Elementor Xtemos element. My installation accepts a new compare page with anything else but these two as content. I updated the theme since my last tweak at the compare page. Login info in private content.
I wrote in my first reply that I’ve tried that method & I get an error when saving the page. It only does this for the compare page with the shortcode or the compare element from Elementor. So it’s Woodmart related. Please advise.
For others facing this error: the problem rested in a code snippet (which previously worked) for opening affiliate products in a new tab. This somehow conflicted with compare function. Disabling the plugin pinpointed the main culprit – the Code Snippets plugin. Disabling each code snippet one by one narrowed the search.
