    Theme: Demo Megamart

The rollover menu doesn’t work on the home page specifically. When you browse other pages, the rollover menu works but for some reason, when you are on the home page, it doesn’t.

This has been happening since I imported the demo content.

-I do not have any extra plugins outside of demo content
-I have not done any extra styling in the CSS.
    -Happens only on home page.

Do you know what might be the reason for this? Your help is greatly appreciated

    Hello,

If I follow you properly, you mean mega menu. If so, please follow the instruction of the manual: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/create-mega-menu/

If you still have the problem, let us know.

    Best Regards

    Yes,

I have created the mega menu and it works perfectly on all pages beside the home page. Can you please visit my site and see?

    To clarify,

My question is not regarding how to create a mega menu but rather the mega menu doesn’t work when the user on on the home page. This problem is unique to the home page and works on every other page. I can assure you I built it correctly. But, it’s not working on the home page.

If you roll your mouse over the mega menu here on this page, it works:
    https://garment.wpengine.com/services/

If you roll your mouse over the mega menu on the home page, it doesn’t work:
    https://garment.wpengine.com/

There is nothing different about the mega menu that would make it behave any differently, yet, it doesn’t work on the home page specifically. Can you please test the mega menu on both the services page so you can see it working vs the home page where you can see it not working?

Please disable WP Engine Quick Links and check.

I contacted WP Engine and they confirmed it’s not working on Mozilla, Safari, or Chrome. Can you please open up this link: https://garment.wpengine.com/ on incognito mode. You’ll see that it’s not working.

Here is what WP Engine did to try and fix the issue:

I dropped you down to PHP 7.4 as a test from PHP 8 and issue still persists. So yes, I would go back to the theme developer. You can tell them that quicklinks is disabled, that we cache excluded the entire site during our session, I made the site completely https, I put the site on PHP 7.4 as well, there are only two plugins needing updating, woocommerce and elementor, but the rest are good, that there are not any errors in the error logs, no PHP FATAL errors, That we tried in different browsers, you are not using a WAF or anything else that works as a barrier between visitor and the site, so yes, I would say that the theme developer would be a great next step.

They disabled the WP Engine Quick Links and it did not work. Wp Engine during our my chat was not able to fix it and we believe it’s a theme setting now. The roll-over menu does specifically on home page. If you can please re-visit the URL and see that it’s not worknig. We’re preparing to launch on Monday and i’m hoping to resolve this by then

    Hello,

Please add this custom code to the Theme Settings > Custom JS > On document ready:

    jQuery(window).trigger('wdEventStarted');

Then clear the cache and check how it works.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards
