    Hi Woodmart Team

Where do i control the content of the filter widget on the shop page?
I want to exclude the standard woocomerce filters (sort after, price filter…) can this only done via CSS?

The elementor block for it has no options and when i go to Design -> Widgets -> Shop filters i can only add stuff there (in my case a HTML Block).

Also, preferably i would like to use the filter layout that opens in a sidebar. Is it possible to use that on any page i want or is it restricted to certain shop pages?

    kind regards
    Chris

    Hello,

This widget area is for the Shop / Product categories pages. WooCommerce filters and Product categories should be added here. In order to show the sidebar on the Shop page, it is necessary to set “Right” or “Left” in the Theme Settings – > Shop – > Sidebar and Titles.

    Please check this manual:

    Best Regards.

OK i read through this and tried some settings but not everything works as expected.

As i understand i should be able to show a hidden sidebar via a Button on the Shop and Category pages. Something like this from your demo: https://woodmart.xtemos.com/shop/?opt=hidden_sidebar

I’ve made some «Filter Blocks» with the HTML blocks and Elementor but the «off canvas column button» does not trigger the sidebar. The only place where this works so far ist the category pages which seems to use a standard Layout. (here for example: https://schweizer-trauerkarten.ch/produkt-kategorie/trauerdanksagungen/)

The Sidebar that opens should then show two Atributes (color and Size) as s Swatches .

When i open the area «Design» -> «Widgets» in the Backend i’m presented by a bunch of errors, why?
The content of the filter Sidebar has to be defined there right?

Could you please assist with this?

    kind regards
    Chris

    Hello,

You need to set the sidebar in the Theme Settings > product Archive > Sidebar and titles and set Canvas sidebar for Desktop/Tablet/ Mobile.

    2. Now the Widget section issue has been solved. You can set the Widget in the sidebar from Appearance >> Widgets.

    Best Regards.
