Shopping Cart Widget

Hi,

I have been having 2 issues with the shopping cart widget.

1.When the products are added to the cart they are clickable – however instead of the link taking the user to that product page to edit, it just refreshes the page instead. However, on the actual cart page it works perfectly and the links go to the product page. I will attach 2 screenshots to show you what I mean(screenshot 1 will show me hovering over the item in the shopping cart widget with the link just refreshing the page – screenshot 2 will show me hovering over the item in the cart page and the correct link displaying.) How do I get this to work in the shopping cart widget?

2. The shopping cart widget title ‘shopping cart’ links to the wrong page – how can I change this link to go to the cart page instead? (screenshot 1 will show the wrong link – 2 will be the link I want it to show – like the ‘view cart’ button)

Also another issue.

3. I tried to add text in the ‘after add to cart button text area” but it does not show. I also tried creating a html block and posting the shortcode for it there but it still does not show.

Any help for all 3 issues would be great thanks.

Hello,

1. Your screen show shows the functionality which does not relate to our theme, check how it works on the default theme.

2. Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, if the problem remains, leave the plugins not activated and provide the site admin access to the private area

Hi, I have fixed 1 and 3. However for 2, is there a way of just preventing that widget heading from having a link?

I also removed all plugins and the issue still persists. If its easier to just remove the link then I can do that.

I figured it out. It was using the link from the footer section and the ‘a’ tag was not closed properly, so it was just using the footer link.
