Slow site after update

HI,
I noticed that after the last update of the theme the site is very slow.
I specify that only the recommended plugins are active and I have added only 3 products besides the demo ones.
Before the update it had very good performance.
I have read that users also have the same problem.
I hope it can be resolved.
