Website Product Categories and Stock Status Display

Hello,

We are about tou launch a new category of product and I would like to do some changes.

1/ Do you know how can I do 2 categories that are completely independent on the same website?

– The “Heating Devices” category will include my three current subcategories: Heaters, Towel Rails, and Composition of Heaters.
– I would like to create additional large category for “Furniture” that will contain additional subcategories
– Both “Heating devices” and “Furniture” will be completely independent in the shop (for the filter category)

2/ on the subcategory page, I would like to put a small icon over the photo to indicate if the product is in stock or out of stock (image – 2). Do you know how to do that ?

3/ How to indicate the status of the stock and a text under the price on the product page ? (image -3)

You can create a custom page and show the categories by means of Product categories elemenet/widget or/and product by means of the Product Grid. Please check this manual: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/elements-and-widgets/

For point n°1, I would like to display 2 different filters.
– for some categories, the current filter will be applied ;
– for other categories, a completely different filter will be applied.

Here it seems that the filter will be applied for every category and I cannot build a different and independant filter for another category (see capture d’écran).

For point n°2 and n°3, I have added a custom labels for a product but it does not show on the product page (see precommande-attribute-display). I would like to add a label that will be displayed on the product image for the product that are going to be pre-ordered.

I have not thought of that, I can indeed use a preset for a filter

Concerning the icon for point 2 and 3, I would like to display a specific label for some product that have the attribute “precommande”. But nothing is displayed. (I have followed the “Custom labels” section of your manual)

Thank you for the info Elise! I have managed to find it.

How could I control the display of the label image. I have done a test and it is not very beautiful.

For the category page, I would like the icon to be superimposed onto the imager and to be smaller (screenshot “category-page” to see the current display).

For the product page, the icon is too small currently (screenshot “product-page” to see the current display)

If try to change the label as per your needs, all the labels would inherit the same style. Please provide the product page URL where you want to change the label.
