    Hello,

    You can rewrite all theme and plugin texts via PO file in WordPress. Here is a video tutorial that should help you translate your website texts with a Loco Translate plugin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3NsDdMzsls&list=PLMw6W4rAaOgKKv0oexGHzpWBg1imvrval&index=3

    We suggest you keep translated files in wp-content/languages/themes/woodmart-pt_PT.po folder. And you will not lose your translations after any updates.

    i am not going to translate i want to change “Browse categories” text to another text..not going to translate

    Hello,

    I understand your purpose. Loco is the best way to do that. If you change the phrase in the theme files it would be lost just after the first update. Loco is free light plugin install and rewrite what you need.
