Navigate to Appearance > Widgets > chose the Footer column and add text or HTML block and insert the social media shortcode
Configure your [social_buttons] shortcode in the Theme Settings > Social profiles. You can leave the fields empty to remove the particular link. Note that there are two types of social buttons. First one is SHARE buttons [social_buttons type="share"]. It displays icons that share your page in social media. And the second one is FOLLOW buttons [social_buttons type="follow"]. Simply displays links to your social profiles. You can configure both types here.
If your Footer is a template created in the HTML block, you can find the Social networks element in WP Bakery page builder chart. http://prntscr.com/mfzcbe
