Visual Composer not working

I just installed the theme on a fresh wordpress install but the visual composer buttons don’t show up and the text is in white (see screenshot). I only have the demo content and have not installed any other plugins than what came with the theme. I have also done another wordpress install and had the same issue.

These credentials also do not work.

Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and check the issue again.
