Shorten / changing the link

    Hello,

    I have installed the Woodmart theme and I have a problem with the URL of the product categories. When I go for example to the category “Amino4u”, there appears the following link: http://www.webbufo.de/produkt-kategorie/amino4u/
    But I don’t want to have this /produkt-kategorie/ in the link. Is it possible to delete this term from the link?

    I looked at the settings > perma links, but there I can only change the term. And when I clear the field, WordPress uses the standard term (/produkt-kategorie/).

    I would be very happy, if someone could help me!

    thanks for your reply.

    But the problem is that I can’t delete the term “produkt-kategorie” from the permalink. I can just add another term – but I want to delete it completely.

    Can you help me?

    Hello,

    we found the online shop “meinetanne.de”. They used also the woodmart theme and they could delete the term. So, when I click on the product category “Weihnachtsbäume”, there appears the following link “https://www.meinetanne.de/weihnachtsbaeume/”.
    There isn’t the “produkt-kategorie” term.. do you know how they could delete it?

    We would be very happy if you could give us an advice.

    Hello,

    we found the plugin https://www.perfectseourl.com

    With that plugin one can remove the term. But it costs 119$, nearly the price we payed for the theme. So, do you know also another solution or is this the only way?

    Hello,

    Our theme doesn’t influence the permalinks structure at all. This functionality is a part of the WooCommerce plugin and you can find all the available options for this in Settings -> Permalinks.

    Okay thank you 🙂 Can you recommend the Premmerce WooCommerce Permalinks Manager? Do you have made experience with this plugin?

    We didn’t test this plugin before and can hardly give you any advice you regarding this.
