Issue with Basel and WooCommerce Product Add-Ons

    Hi Elise,

    we started to use the plugin WooCommerce Product Add-Ons, but unfortunately there is an issue with your theme. Because the issue disappears when I change the theme. Please try to select all add-ons and add the product to the cart in the English version (second language) of the web site. You’ll see that the add-ons are not added in the cart. In the Italian version (default language) it works perfectly. You can try that in the normal web site (with Basel) and in a staging theme (with a WooCommerce theme).

    Hello,

    Please try to disable AJAX Add to cart option on the Product page in the Theme Settings.

    Yes, it works in this way. So I can’t use the Basel AJAX add to cart option? Can I ask you to fix it, please?

    Hello,

    Our AJAX does not work with the plugin, unfortunately. Perhaps we shall fix this in one of our future updates, however, we cannot tell it will be in the nearest future. There is no quick solution.

    WPML support asked to us to replicate the issue on a Sandbox and I’m trying to install there the Basel theme. They are available to help us to fix the issue. But I need a Purchase code. How I can do?

    Hello,

    You can activate the theme twice: once on development host and once on the final. If you have activated the license once you would not have any problems.

    On how many web sites can I install Basel with a license? I thought only one.

    Hello,

    One site – one license. If you develop the site on a staging platform, you can activate the license and then move to productive and activate again. But this is anyway one and the same site.

    When you have a few independent, you should purchase the license for each one.

    We made the staging web site on a WPML Sandbox. So not the same server of the main web site. As I told you I would like to be really sure that nothing will happen if we will insert the same license code on our staging copy. We do not want to discover only then that there are problems with the main web site.
