Home Page delay

    Hi,

    Our site seems pretty fast but if a user hits the logo to return to the home page, there always seems to be quite a delay. Any suggestions? (please see link included)

    Hello,

    Try to do the following steps:

    1. Be sure that you have deactivated all the external plugins while checking and don’t have child theme.

    2. Update the theme and all the included plugins to the latest versions.

    3. Disable swatches attribute to be displayed on the shop page in Theme Settings -> Shop -> Attribute swatches.

    4. Go to Appearance -> Customize -> WooCommerce -> Product images, decrease images size for both single and catalog page and save to regenerate all thumbnails.

    5. Keep plugins deactivated and send us the admin access so we can check it as well.

    Hi,
    Thanks for this.
    1. In the first step, are you saying disable all plugins apart from those included with WoodMart?
    2. Swatches attribute is already disabled so nothing to do there, correct?
    3. Regarding Woo image size, we have 600 wide and 300 wide. What should we reduce them to?

    1. Yes, keep plugins that come with our theme.

    2. Correct.

    3. Try to reduce them by 50-100 pixels and regenerate all thumbnails.
