Trying to translate with Loco translate the child theme

    Hello, I have been trying to translate with Loco translate the child theme so as not to lose the translations when updating the theme, but it has been impossible for me, even in their tutorials it appears as translating the father theme, but it is supposed to update the theme the translation of the father theme It would be deleted .. that is why I need to know how to translate the child theme to avoid losing the work done, thanks.

    Hi,

    You need to translate the parent theme only. Translations files should be stored in the wp-content/languages folder so they will not be overridden after the update.
