HUGE PROBLEM !! Product titles and short description disappear ! HELP Please !!

    Hi,

    I’ve detected a huge blocking problem with woodmart. In certain cases depending on end user behavior, the product title and short description are juste DELETED from the database !

    See steps to reproduce in the private section.

    I’ve deleted my cache and caching plugins but the problem remains. So, leaving all my extensions I switched to the twenty-sixteen theme, reproduced the steps above and now it’s ok, the product title and short description are not deleted anymore.

    So it seems that there is a bug in woodmart but how comes that a single end user action can delete permanently database information ???

    Just to let you know, just to be sure I switched back to woodmart theme and deactivated everything except woodmart, woocommerce and wpml and the problem remains…

    Hello,

    Could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us your admin and FTP access so we can check it?

    Also, you need to contact WPML support for help so they can check from their side too.

    As I told you in my second message I already deactivated all the other plugins.

    I send you my credentials and I open a ticket on WPML.

    We see a lot of similar topics on WPML support forum so it is a plugin’s issue. Wait for their support response and we will keep the topic opened. Contact us if you will have any additional information.

    It is not because there is a lot of topics on WPML forum about that issue that it is automatically a problem caused by WPML. For example there is one issue that was caused by another plugin called Variation Table…

    If it is a WPML issue how do you explain that when I change theme from Woodmart to Retail (leaving all my other plugins activated) the problem disappears ?

    You asked me my admin and FTP credentials this morning, did you really try to investigate further or do you wash your hands just because there is some other related topics on WPML and that it’s easy to reject the bug on someone else ?

    We had other cases with similar problems that were caused by WPML and resolved by their team. If they will say that there is something we should do from our side, just contact us and we will do that.

    OK thank you for clarifying. I understand better. However the person in charge of my case at WPML doesn’t seem to be aware of the other cases you’re talking about. Hope they are documented somewhere at their end because he asks me to reproduce the issue on their test server with a regular theme but I already did on my server and, as I told you, the issue disappears with any other theme than woodmart… Let’s see what they say.

    Hi,

    WPML ask me to try to reproduce the issue on their test server installing Woodmart. But if I have declared my domain wordpress.coklat-ibiza.com for my installation can I install the archive on WPML server ?

    Hi,

    You told me that you “had other cases with similar problems that were caused by WPML and resolved by their team”. Do you have any reference or WPML ticket opened about that ? They don’t find nothing related to the same issue with woodmart…
