File type and size for favicon and logo image

Hello

I am using the woodmart retail theme.

Can you please tell what size and file type should be the favicon?

And what file type and size should be the logo which would fit on the retail desktop website and mobile website. Thanks.

Hello,

Site Icons should be square and at least 512 × 512 pixels for the favicon, you can set in Appearance > Customize > Site identity. You can use png format.

As for the logo, it may be any size as per your needs and settings.

A couple of questions-

1.) Dont I have to put any image here?

2.) Does the theme scale the logo in the header?

These are from your logo. The logo on webite look very small than the original file.

When I upload the logo on My theme I am getting a very small logo.

So I dont know what size it should be to fit perfectly.

Hello,

You can leave the fields empty if you have uploaded the favicon to in Appearance > Customize > Site identity

Yes, you can upload the logo for desktop and for mobile. https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/header-builder/header-responsive-settings/

You can configure the logo size as per the instructions: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/header-builder/setup-logo-image/

Make sure the row height is not less than the logo height: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/header-builder/header-rows-columns-configuration/
