Hello,

In general, our theme is already optimized and don’t have too many resources to make your website slow. Most likely, your website performance suffers from the content you have added to your website. It may happen in case of too many plugins, large not optimized images or other resources. So we suggest you to remove unnecessary plugins, install some kind of JS & CSS optimizing plugins like Better WordPress Minify and a caching plugin like WP Super Cache or use WP Rocket for both tasks. Also, you can use GTmetrix tool to see what makes your website slow and optimize these parts of your website.

Hi Artem
Wp-Rocket and the WoodMart Theme do not get along. I activated Wp-Rocket this morning and the performance was good (see appendix). But some images are not displayed correctly. For example see by categories on the website. As soon as I deactivate Wp-Rocket, the images appear normal again. What is wrong?
GTmatrix Test Wp-Rocket deactivated: 6,8sec.
GTmatrix Test Wp-Rocket activated: 4,8 sec.

Could you please activate the plugin and send us a link where we can see that? Our theme is fully compatible with this plugin and we use it for our demo without any issues.

Hi,
We have now activated Wp-Rocket. The shop will not appear correct now, so please help us as soon as possible to fix this problem. (Possibly the configuration of Wp-Rocken is not set correctly).

Please, disable lazy loading and all external plugins that are not related to our theme except cache.

Disabled lazy loading in Wp-Rocket. We have disabled certain plugins that are not needed. We cannot deactivate the ones that are brought.

It seems to be working. So was the activation of LazyLoad in Wp-Rocket the problem?
And then I have another question, I noticed that the widget does not show recently viewed products in the shop. Why is that?

Hello,

Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress theme like twentysixteen to understand is it our theme issue or not? As for the lazy loading, you can use our theme’s option for that in Theme Settings -> Performance.

I tried the twentysixteen. It looks good there, all last viewed products are displayed correctly as desktop as well as alls also mobile.

In this case, you need to create a staging development copy of your website. There, you will be able to do such kind of experiments without any harm to your production website.

Use the plugin “Health Check & Troubleshooting”

it creates a troubleshoot mode for yourself only as admin, with all plugins disabled, all this without impacting your live site to your customers

it’s the best for troubleshooting, i always use it
+ MAKE BACKUP!

have noticed that when I am logged in to the backend, the last viewed products are displayed (see atachement left) . When I log out again and look at a product in the shop, it does not appear. How can that be?

It means that you have some kind of cache plugin or mechanism on the server that blocks this functionality.

But why doesn’t it work with the twentysixteen theme and with woodmart theme? That can’t be because of the cache! I tested it with twentysixteen and it works fine!
