Widget Area in Header

    I put a widget in the “Widget Area in Header” but it’s not showing up, where is it supposed to show? Am i supposed to do anything for it to show?

    Hi,

    This area doesn’t work for all header layouts. Try to set “Base header” in Theme Settings -> Header -> Header layout.

    Thank you, i just realized that. I have one more question, i’d like to add something to the header near the shopping cart (a shortcode that will be grabbed by php) but I can’t seem to find where I can do that.

    Can you please refer me to where I can customize the header from?

    You can add your custom code to the inc/template-tags.php file. Use PHP function called basel_header_block_cart.
